Far Eastern Handicraft (FEH) is a leading Vietnamese manufacturer and exporter of handcrafted home décor made from natural and sustainable materials such as seagrass, bamboo, rattan, water hyacinth, paper, capiz shell, mother of pearl, and other eco-friendly resources.

2. Where is your company and factory located?
Our head office and showrooms are based in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with production facilities in traditional craft villages across northern and central Vietnam.

3. How long has FEH been exporting handicraft products?
FEH has over 20 years of experience in producing and exporting sustainable handicraft products to global markets, including the U.S., Europe, Japan, and Australia.

4. Which countries or markets do you mainly export to?
We supply handcrafted home décor to major retailers, importers, and sourcing companies in United State, Europe, Australia, Asia and so on.

5. What makes FEH different from other Vietnamese suppliers?

About Products & Materials

1. What types of products does FEH manufacture?
FEH specializes in handcrafted home décor, storage baskets, trays, lighting, wall décor, and seasonal collections, all made from natural and sustainable materials.

2. Which natural materials do you specialize in?
We work with seagrass, rattan, bamboo, water hyacinth, paper, capiz shell, and mother of pearl, along with other eco-friendly materials sourced from Vietnam’s craft villages.

3. Can I request customized designs, colors, or sizes?
Yes. Our R&D and design team can develop customized sizes, shapes, colors, finishes, and packaging based on your brand and market needs.

4. Do you develop seasonal collections (Christmas, Easter, etc.)?
Absolutely. FEH launches new seasonal collections every year — including Christmas, Easter, Summer, and everyday home décor — following global trends and buyer insights.

5. How do you ensure consistent quality across handmade products?
Each item is made under strict quality control with pre-production samples, in-line inspections, and final checks before shipment to ensure global export standards.

About Production & Supply Capacity

1. What is your production capacity?
FEH operates a 10,000 m² manufacturing facility with 160 skilled artisans and a well-developed infrastructure system. This ensures strong and scalable production capacity suitable for both large-volume orders and mixed-container shipments.

2. What is your typical lead time for samples and bulk orders?
Sample development typically takes 7–14 days, while mass production requires 60–90 days, depending on product complexity, material, and order quantity.

3. What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
Our MOQ is flexible. Most items start from 100 pcs per design, and we accept mixed SKUs per container for seasonal programs or assorted shipments.

4. Can you handle full container loads (FCL) and less-than-container loads (LCL)?
Yes. We fully support FCL, LCL, and mixed-container loads, depending on the buyer’s logistics strategy and shipping requirements.

5. How do you control product quality during production?
We implement a strict QC system, including material inspection, in-line checks, pre-shipment inspection, and optional third-party audits by BV, SGS, Intertek, or TUV.

6. Do you collaborate with external inspection agencies?
Yes. Buyers may request inspections via BV, SGS, Intertek, TUV, or their preferred agencies. FEH fully supports factory audits and compliance verification.

7. What is your production and delivery time?
Our standard lead time is approximately 65 days from order confirmation. Because all products are fully handmade, we recommend avoiding urgent deadlines to maintain optimal quality.

8. Do you have a tolerance rate for handmade products?
Yes. A tolerance of ±5% in quantity or value may apply. Slight variations in size, color, or texture are natural characteristics of handmade goods and are considered acceptable.

9. How are the products packaged and shipped?
Each item is individually wrapped in soft protective paper, and selected items are packed in 5-layer master cartons for added safety.
Buyers are responsible for arranging the shipment through their appointed freight forwarder and covering freight charges from Hai Phong Port.

10. What is your product guarantee or claim policy?

FCL Orders: Defective or broken items will be credited in your next order upon receiving clear photos and documentation.
LCL Orders: We cannot accept claims for breakage, as LCL shipments are handled and transported by the buyer’s chosen carrier.

Pricing, Quotation & Payment Terms

1. How can I request a quotation or catalog from FEH?

We will provide a full catalog, quotation, and product details based on your selected items or project requirements.

2. Do you sell to individual customers?
No. FEH sells exclusively to the trade, not to private individuals.

3. What is your Minimum Order Value (MOV) and MOQ?
Our standard requirements are:

MOV: USD 5,000
MOQ: 100 pcs per item
Full container load (FCL) preferred
Orders below MOV may incur an additional charge per CBM.

4. What price terms do you offer (FOB, CIF, EXW)?
We primarily offer FOB Hai Phong Port, Vietnam, in USD. CIF or EXW quotations are available upon request via fehandicraft@gmail.com

5. What are your payment terms?
Our standard payment terms are:

30% deposit before production
70% balance against shipping documents
Alternative terms may be negotiated with long-term partners.

6. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept:
(1) Wire Transfer (T/T)
– Standard 30% deposit + 70% balance against documents
– All bank fees must be paid on the buyer’s side
– Transfers typically take ~4 business days; sharing the transfer slip helps speed up processing

(2) Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C at sight)
– Applicable for orders with MOV from USD 12,000

7. Do you require a deposit before production?
Yes. A deposit confirms material procurement and production scheduling, ensuring timely delivery and proper quality control.

1. Which certifications does FEH hold?
FEH is the first handicraft manufacturer in Vietnam to operate with a full set of global-standard certifications, including BSCI, ICS, SMETA, WCA, GRS, Higg FEM, BEPI, ISO14001 and FSC — ensuring social responsibility and sustainable sourcing.

2. Can you provide product test reports if needed?
Absolutely. We can arrange lab tests through BV, Intertek, TUV, SGS or other approved agencies based on your market’s regulatory standards.

3. Do your products comply with EU and US import regulations?
Yes. Our materials, coatings, and packaging comply with REACH, RoHS, FDA (where applicable) and other requirements for EU/US markets.

4. Do you accept factory audits from buyers?
Yes. FEH fully supports buyer audits and third-party inspections, and we maintain transparent production processes to meet international compliance expectations.

5. Are you able to meet sustainability or ESG requirements for large retailers?
Yes. Our certified materials, ethical production practices, and traceable supply chain allow us to meet ESG, sustainability, and sourcing standards required by major global retailers.
